Rating: ***** I chose this place for routine maintenance work on a small motorcycle because they could take me in so quickly. Garage 33 has a great service dept AND they don't inflate their labor charges. I had called a couple other shops and the price quotes were twice as high as this one, primarily due to the time and charges for labor. I'm thrilled I chose a competent, honest shop.

I wish to thank Jim and his staff for immediately dropping everything and repairing my 2014 Massimo MSU 800. My wife and I are on vacation from Florida and enjoyed trail and road riding in Colorado for a month when on Saturday morning our UTV would not start even after a few hours of my effort checking everything I knew to check. We called several Massimo, Hisun and Benneche repair centers who were closed by late Saturday afternoon. I left messages at these, but none returned my calls. I called Gear Heads/Garage 33 Powersports as we were camped at a nearby RV campground around 10am and they volunteered to pickup my UTV in their trailer to get it to their shop by 11am. Jim and his staff immediately went to work on it, and kept me informed of progress and options, which included trading it in for a new Reaper UTV. One of their staff drove one to my campsite, and we drove it into my toy hauler motorhome to see if it would fit. It almost did and will if we remove the front bumper and winch. They also volunteered to let me keep the Reeper overnight so my wife and I could test drive to make sure we would be satisfied if we bought one. Jim and his staff were able to determine wiring problems would not allow starting and fixed those the best they could without having to order a single part which we did not have time for as we were leaving the following morning. They also adjusted the valves. It now starts better than it ever has after nearly 5,000 miles. A dishonest or incompetent mechanic would have said it was broken beyond repair and would have tried to sell me the Reeper. A good mechanic is hard to find and we are so blessed to find Jim and his staff and they helped salvage the rest of our vacation with a very fair labor charge. A six star rating on a five star scale. Thank you very much!

Rating: ***** The best guys I have ever worked with. They know what they are doing. And will go out of there way to make your experience the best. By far exceeded my expectations. I wish more shops were like this. I will always let Garage 33 work on my machines. It didn't take any longer than a dealer would have but was more of a personal friendly interaction. The quality and attention to detail was very impressive. I was glad I found them.

Gear Heads is a great shop! Finally a shop in town that is suited for any motorized enthusiast. Gear Heads does GREAT work at exceptional prices. Jim is a very good mechanic who will gladly take the time to discuss what he’s doing with you and give you alternate options if you would like. Gear Heads has also supported the local community by hosting monthly meetings for the Laramie County Riders Association and has even taken personal time to support a race by being on location and offering to help any rider that needed it on race day. The people at Gear Heads really do want to put the right people with the right product every time. This shop is really here for the people, they are not looking to just turn a quick dollar and send you on down the road. As I said Jim is a great mechanic and only hires mechanics and employees that meet his high expectations. The Jessica’s are not simply pretty faces to stand behind the counter and type in orders either both of them have surprised me more than once with their knowledge and sound advice for a couple of my different motorcycles. I will continue to bring all my motorcycles to Gear Heads for as long as I am in Cheyenne.

Bryce M. Gladewater, TX 5.0 star rating 8/23/2016 on the way to sturgis this year I had some bike problems. gear heads got me in, got me fixed and got me back on the road during a time when I thought I would lose at least a day, if not more, getting back on the road. I really really appreciated the attention to my bike, they got me running again, and have had no further problems. not only that, they didn't run over me with the bill. thanks again guys

Jan 12 2017 I drove up from Windsor CO to check out a Modded 2005 Raptor 660R they had listed on Craigslist for a ridiculous low price. I figured it's a dealership so something had to be wrong. Not even close. This machine was exactly as advertised. I test drove it and said I want it. Jim took it out himself and said he didn't like the tune, so he asked if he could bring it to me later. Of course! He tuned it in and didn't like a little play he found on his test run, and replaced the bushings on the front end!! I have never dealt with a dealer that treats its customers so well!! Purchased my 6 year old a little beginners quad that he trailered to me as well. Will be back to get some dirt bikes at a later date. Jesse Gamez

Jim and his staff at Gearheads have been wonderful to work with. I asked him what I could do to get a little more power out of my UTV and he had a broad range of suggestions with varying budgets in mind. I decided to have him polish the heads, install a Dynatek fuel and ignition controller, the auto tuner/oxygen sensor, and an aftermarket pipe. It definitely helped with the sluggish acceleration, the engine temperature stays about 10 degrees cooler when I am riding, and the sound is a lot better than factory. I also ordered larger wheels and tires through Gear Heads. After installing them I soon realized that I would have to change the clutch weights and springs to accommodate the tire size that I chose. Jim was very helpful every step of the way and was always very willing to answer any questions (no matter how foolish they may have been) relating to the upgrades that I was interested in making. He is fair on his pricing and has treated me well as a returning customer. I am very pleased with the quality of the work that was completed on my Ranger and completely recommend doing business with Gear Heads and hope to remain a long time customer whenever my need to accessorize comes calling.

Brett E. Kansas City, MO 5.0 star rating 9/8/2016 The guys at gear heads / Garage 33 are great! I was on a cross country moto trip when my rear tire blew. When all the other shops were closed, the guys at Garage 33 were not only open but were super helpful, incredibly nice, and accommodating. They not only replaced my tube, but also re-did my rim strip and balanced my wheel. Things that made doing business with them great: When potentially stranded, they were angels that were immediately on top of my problem While I waited for the tire to be fixed the recommended the best brunch place in Cheyenne They were great to have random moto conversations with Shop dog, sweetest coolest pup ever.

I just wanted to take a minute and rate my recent experience with Gear Heads (motorcyclegearheads.com). First and foremost, having met the staff each team member was professional, knowledgeable and personable. The staff, they're just good honest people. I'm from Kentucky and good people are hard to come by. Gear Heads is what I would consider "good people". So, I wasn't pressured into buying anything and I didn't feel rushed. I knew what I wanted when I first called. After asking a few million questions Brittnie helped me narrow down what kind of motorcycles fit the bill. I ended up with exactly what I wanted, at the price we agreed with no last-minute surprises. Gear Heads even offered to deliver it to me on the cheap! I was preparing for a trip, Dylan made sure I was squared away and even offered to help build the motorcycle hauler I had purchased before driving up to pick up the motorcycle. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for the long road ahead. There is no better feeling, than knowing you're taken care of. They listen, don't pressure, don't rush, make buying quick and painless, have quick and clear communication over phone/email, final price is as negotiated with no surprises and each team member is professional and personable. I really can't say more, one of the best dealers out there for sure. To surmise, if you are in the market for a motorcycle of any variety please stop by Gear Heads! They are awesome and you will not regret the experience!

I was very pleased with the quality workmanship by Gearheads. They rebuilt the engine on my 1973 Hodaka 125 Wombat. They kept me informed as the work progressed, so I knew what it needed. I would highly recommend this business! Dr. Frank Mellblom O.D. ,retired. -Frank Mellblom

This place is amazing. They are new to Cheyenne but not new to the motorcycle industry. They have worked on bikes that most shops in Cheyenne Wyoming have not even heard of. The mechanic is a very good mechanic and has always helped me get my bike running the best that it has ever had. Not to mention that they are growing . They got me the parts that all of the other places in Cheyenne Wyoming could not find. Then help me install them. This is the only motorcycle shop in Cheyenne Wyoming that I will go to. I am a very experienced motorcyclist and motocross racing. They can help you with anything that you have I guarantee it.
